  1. Peggy Lovell says:

Can you leave and come back using lawn box / parking pass? Is parking first come first served or assigned with lawn box parking pass?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Peggy, once you park and enter the show to go your seats, there is no leaving and coming back from your car. Parking is first-come, first-serve in all lots. We do have handicap parking in all lots with guests who have a handicap placard.

  2. Jack Millner says:

I would like to purchase two lawn boxes, would like them to be adjacent. Am I able to select two at a time when making the selection at purchase?

  3. Fanny Koehler says:

Why can’t we secure a lawn box, as we already purchased our car pass and purchased our tickets last year? There is not an option for us to get just the lawn box!

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Fanny, you can absolutely call our box office at 877-301-8499 and have your tickets transferred from being general admission to a lawn box. They’d be happy to assist.

  4. Rebekah says:

I’m looking at lawn boxes and I want to bring my elderly mother who has a difficult time looking directly up. In the lawn boxes will it be directly above us or above us but sort of in front of us?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Rebekah, the flight line on which the planes are flying will be in front and above all seating areas, so as long as she’s okay looking at about a 45 degree angle, she should be fine.

  5. JK says:

If we purchase a lawn box (6 person max), do we have a guaranteed box and can show up right before the show? What are options for other food?

    • Laney Poye says:

Prices are located here on our website, and the price includes up to six guests (adults and children). You do have a pre-assigned spot which you will choose when you purchase!

  6. Ursula H. says:

I purchased “preferred” passes last year for the show. That was supposed to include a seat. I’m confused as to what I have now. Do I have a lawn box or one of those little circles? Do we have to bring our own chair now when I initially paid extra for it to be included? Thanks

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Ursula, preferred seating guests are still as-is – you are receiving an upgraded service that includes a seat provided for you, designated restrooms, and a distinct viewing area. You do not have to bring your own chairs, and they are not the same as the lawn boxes. Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions.

    • Laney Poye says:

All seating areas are along the length of the flight line, with amplified sound through out. Preferred seating is to the left of show center, GA and lawn boxes are off to the right. All provide a really great view of the show above you!

  7. Leslie Mc says:

Will there be delays in-between demonstrations/groups to allow commercial aviation to land/take off? We went to the Melbourne show last year and that made a long day waiting for the air show to continue after commercial aviation landed/took off.

    • Laney Poye says:

All commercial flights will still be happening as scheduled, but whether those happen or not, there’s always a mild delay between acts as the previous performer lands and the air boss clears the next performer for takeoff. The aerial show is noon to 4 pm.

  8. Tristan says:

With the reservation of a lawn box what are we allowed to bring besides Chairs? Can we bring anything for shade like an Umbrella? Will the boxes be numbered or just first come first serve with a reservation?

    • Laney Poye says:

Handheld umbrellas or chairs with attached shades are fine; beach umbrellas, awnings, tents or other pop up are not allowed. All lawn boxes are numbered, so when you purchase one, you will need to select your chosen location. The boxes will then be labeled and you will need to sit in the box that you have been assigned.

    • Laney Poye says:

All parking is within half-a-mile walking distance of seating (most closer) and all lots do include handicap parking closest to the gate.

  9. Fanny Koehler says:

We purchased our tickets last year, General admission, recently received email to purchase parking pass too. Some of the responses here state parking pass included with ticket, and of course there was no lawn boxes which included tickets and parking passes either, looks like our early purchase cost more than the boxes after all.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Fanny, you did not end up paying more – the price was changed to include parking moving forward, but at an increased rate. By purchasing early last year, you saved extensively, as we do a tiered discount for guests who purchase earliest.

  10. Carol says:

What are the actual hours (time frame) that the actual air show will be flying? Also, the links on this page to buy tickets do not work.

    • Laney Poye says:

Gates open at 9 am, show is noon to 4 pm. The purchase ticket links are working fine on our end – please try this direct link, and if it does not work for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to our box office at 877-301-8499.

  11. Mandy says:

Looking at purchasing Lawn Boxes. Which row is closest to the jets – A or I?

Also – can we bring in a stroller or wagon?

    • Laney Poye says:

Rows A and beyond are the closest to the tarmac; however, you will be watching the aerial show above you, so any seat is going to be great to catch all the action from your Lawn Box seats! A small stroller or wagon to carry your chairs is fine.

  12. Michelle Tannock says:

Do I need to get a ticket for my 2yr old son?? I only saw something in the comments regarding he is free. However, I dont see anything stated on the website for children. Do I just purchase for me and my husband??

    • Laney Poye says:

Yes, your two year old is free for General Admission or VIP Flight Line Club. For preferred seating, if you want him to have his own seat, you will need to purchase him a ticket. For lawn boxes, he does count as one person toward the six-person maximum limit per box.

  13. Gary says:

Hello. Are the lawn boxes on sloped ground, with the ones in front lower than those in the back? The picture gives that impression.

    Thanks.

    • Laney Poye says:

They are on slightly sloped ground (not enough to cause your chair to tumble). Since all the action is happening above you in the sky, it doesn’t make too much of a difference which row you decide to choose, however!

    • Laney Poye says:

Each guest is allowed up to 1L of water per person; no other outside food or beverage is allowed. We will have food vendors on site.

  14. Ivan Olmedo says:

In general admission are they going to have planes on display to walk around and we want to get a group of 15 we need two group of 6 or there’s other options.

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Ivan, at the time of this comment’s writing, we will have static displays. For group orders larger than 6, we actually recommend you reach out to our box office directly at 877-301-8499, as they’d be happy to assist and ensure you are all seated in a grouping together.

  15. Alicia says:

Hello. Interested in a lawn box. Are umbrellas allowed? We have a 6month old in our party and are worried about the sun since FL in October is still pretty much summer.

    • Laney Poye says:

Handheld umbrellas are fine; no awnings or beach umbrellas are allowed. A small pop up toddler sun shade should be fine, though we ask that should a volunteer or team member ask you to move it, that you please do.

    • Laney Poye says:

Each guest can bring up to 1L of water per person, but no other food or beverage will be allowed. We will have food vendors on site.

    • Laney Poye says:

No – no BBQ grills will be allowed. Each guest can bring up to 1L of water per person, but no other food or beverage will be allowed.

  16. Duane Udo says:

Does purchasing the lawn box include the admission tickets. Which is closer to show center the lawn boxes or the proffered seating?

    • Laney Poye says:

Yes, the lawn boxes cover up to 6 people. Lawn boxes at this time are slightly closer to the show center, but all are going to have phenomenal views.

  17. Robert Klenner says:

Please provide a diagram or map showing the location of both the lawn boxes and the flight line and aerobatic box for the Sanford airshow. Will there be additional non-lawn box spectators between the front row of the lawn boxes and the airshow line? Are umbrellas for sunshade allowed in the lawn boxes?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Robert, we will provide a map, but so you know, the Flight Line Club VIP is closest to show center, then lawn boxes, then general admission, but all guests will still have fantastic views and sound quality! Handheld umbrellas are fine, but beach umbrellas, tents, or other types of awnings will not be allowed.

  18. Cait says:

How are the lawn boxes set up….is it vip, then lawn boxes, then GA, hard to tell if lawn boxes would be a better seat than GA, is there an event map anywhere?

    • Laney Poye says:

Hey Cait, we’ll be posting a site map in the coming weeks so you can see, but the VIP Flight Line Club is the closest to Show Center, then lawn boxes and GA.

  19. Cait says:

I have a group of 7 interested in the lawn box – one person is actually a 2 year old, would this be considered too many people in the lawn box since 2 and under are free?

    • Laney Poye says:

We encourage lawn box guests to bring their own chairs. The Thunderbirds will not have a public meet-and-greet tent because of COVID-19 this year.

    • Laney Poye says:

There is not, because we do a discount for purchasing online across the board. We currently have our 30% Early Bird pricing happen, which is already added into the ticket price, no promo code needed.

  20. Ryan S says:

So if six of us get a lawn box, 3 couple drive separately, only one parking pass with tickets, two groups have to pay for parking???

    • Laney Poye says:

Hi Ryan, each lawn box comes with one complimentary parking pass included. If other guests are driving separately, they will need to purchase parking separately.

          • 407-921-4717 says:

But not for general admission, correct?? We purchased last year, and recently got email to purchase parking pass too? We got General Admission tickets, wish we knew about the lawn boxes, but that was pre Covid

          • Laney Poye says:

The admission price was changed a few weeks ago to include parking moving forward, but at an increased rate that included the price of parking. By purchasing early last year, you saved extensively, as we do a tiered discount for guests who purchase earliest.

  21. Mark says:

Is there a map showing the area the lawn boxes will be? Like how close to center stage? I already have my tickets for Saturday. Would like to compare the box location vs the regular crowd seating. Also can you bring lawn chairs?

Thank you, I look forward to the answers.

    Respectfully, Mark

    • Laney Poye says:

We’re working on a public map to show where ticketing areas are located, but the lawn boxes are slightly closer to show center than general admission. And yes, lawn box guests are encouraged to bring their own seating just like general admission.
