Answers below do not pertain to the general admission air show event on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2020. For FAQs regarding the general Lockheed Martin Air and Space Show, please visit our FAQ page.

General Questions:

When is the Employee Day, who gets to attend and what does it cost?

The Employee day is Friday, October 30, 2020 and is free to current Lockheed Martin employees and family members. This is separate from the public show dates of Oct. 31 – Nov. 1, 2020 in which tickets are sold. It doesn’t matter where you live or what Business Area you reside. Employees from Australia, India, USA, U.K., etc., and family members are all welcome.

How do I gain entrance into Employee Day?

The only way to gain access was by applying for one of 3,500 parking passes for the event. Lockheed Martin employees that registered during the registration period between Nov. 8 – Feb. 17, 2020 will receive a notification on March 2, 2020 if they have been selected to receive a parking pass. With a parking pass, employees must take at least three, but no more than five, fellow employees or immediate family members in one vehicle to the Employee Day. No individual tickets will be issued for Employee Day.

I registered for a parking pass, what’s next?

Why do I have to have between 4-6 people total in my car to attend?

Parking will be limited for Employee Day, since all people attending must be pre-screened prior to the show.  For this reason, we cannot allow Uber, Lyft or taxiing to the Friday Employee Day. Parking passes allow our attendants to know that the driver and the sponsored people in their car have been pre-screened and are connected to Lockheed Martin. We also want to maximize attendance for the event between 15,000-20,000 people.  If we allowed single passenger vehicles, we could end up with only 3,500 people attending.

As an employee, who am I allowed to bring with me to Employee Day?

We’re requesting employees bring immediate family or fellow employees. An immediate family member is defined as a blood relative, relative through marriage or significant other.

I’m a retired Lockheed Martin employee – can I attend Employee Day?

Unfortunately, no. Due to space limitations, the Friday, October 30, 2020 Employee Day is only open to current employees and their immediate families. Retirees are welcome to purchase tickets to either of the weekend public show days.

Can I just take a Taxi, Uber, Lyft or other rideshare?

No. Transportation via rideshare is not allowed due to security concerns. There is no way to verify people being dropped off at the event as Lockheed Martin Employees.

Can I just show up to Employee Day?

No. Each employee must be part of a group registered and issued a parking pass. You will be turned away if you do not have a valid parking pass.

How do I attend if I less than three immediate family members?

1.    Reach out to fellow employees at your site and collect a group of four to six people and apply together. If within driving distance, carpool to the show or fly to Orlando together and rent a car.

2.    If out of state, reach out to employees in the Central Florida area you may know and create a carpool group for the event. All five LMCO business areas have employees in the Orlando area, so hopefully you know someone or have a connection to someone who lives there.

3.    Finally, if you’ve exhausted your network, you can post your need for a ride-share group on the Lockheed Martin Employee Day Facebook page. Everyone who registers for a car pass will automatically be registered for the page, and inevitably, someone will see your request and hopefully offer a ride. The link is: https://www.fb.com/groups/lmsasemployeeday

Can I give my parking pass to a colleague, friend or family member?

No. The first and last name of the employee registered and their business area will be printed on the parking pass and it’s unique to that person and their vehicle. Please note that parking passes are not allowed to be duplicated, copied or otherwise shared.

Does my parking pass have to be printed?

Yes, parking passes MUST be printed and able to be physically displayed. No parking passes via mobile phone or tablet will be accepted. Once you arrive at the gate, you will surrender your physical parking pass to the attendant, as this will admit you to Employee Day.

What if I can’t attend Employee Day or want to attend the show over the weekend?

If employees can’t make the Employee Day or want to attend the show again over the weekend, they can purchase up to six General Admission tickets per show day (Saturday, Oct. 31  and Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020) at a discounted rate using their company email address.  The discount is applicable only for General Admission tickets and there are no restrictions on who uses them.
